Past and Present

Galaxy Seating Ltd was founded in the mid 80's by local Coventry boy and Ex-Coventry Bees Speedway rider Frank Smith. After a successful career during the 70's he decided to hang up his leathers and pursue a career in the upholstery industry. Learning the trade at various City firms including, Jaguar Cars, Callow Maddox and Midland Motor Sundries, until setting up Galaxy Seating Ltd in the late 80's.

Today, as a well established company we continue to grow, utilizing over 60 years experience in the upholstery trade at our facilities in Coventry. With a dedicated work force behind us, we apply our combined knowledge, expertise and traditional skills to manufacture quality seating and desking at manufacturers costs - whilst remaining with the family identity, giving you all the benefits from our professional and friendly service for total customer satisfaction.

Future

The UK furniture industry is facing huge competition from Far Eastern suppliers. But we have refocused our experience and innovative talents to supply new markets giving future scope to the company.......................

Quality - Assurance

All of our product ranges are manufactured "in Great Britain" at our premises in Coventry, Warwickshire.
We take great pride in ensuring that all our seating and desking is of the highest quality and workmanship.

• All chairs are fitted with revolve and tilt mechanisms and gas height adjustment as standard
• All arms are interchangeable
• Knee tilt mechanism optional
• Incorporating C.M.H.R. foam on all ranges (Fire retardant)
• Component parts available in chrome, black or grey finish
• All filing cabinets are fitted with full extension ball bearing glides runners, anti-tilt mechanism and folding key
• Cantilever finish in metallic silver or light grey
• Desking tops are finished in 25mm MFC with 2mm PVC edging with a choice of over 10 finishes
